If your idea of an art show is standing in a gallery looking at a dusty, dull picture – then Fresh: Art Fair is not what you expect.
Fresh brings vibrant, exciting art of all types together to create an enormous, all encompassing extravaganza of pieces to immerse yourself in. From the joyful sculptures of giant dogs to delicate glass work, tiny exquisite paintings of goldfish emerging from the deep to huge canvases of blue skies – the level of talent on show is simply breathtaking.
RRA was immensely proud to partner the Fresh Art Fair for it’s third year. We love the inclusivity of this Art Fair, which is dedicated to the ideology that ‘Fresh: is for everyone.’ As such, organisers, Anthony and Ellie Wardle of Paragon Gallery, are passionate about exhibiting a very extensive selection of 6000 pieces of art for all tastes and all pockets, from newcomers to established collectors. Anthony and Ellie seem to have achieved this perfectly according to comments from the RRA guests;

This year saw the return of many of the previous exhibitors, with a few new faces, totalling 62 of the UK’s leading galleries under one roof. There were also talks on everything from how to choose a frame for your piece to ideas for using art in interior design and live demonstrations of painting, screen printing, woodcutting and more.
Along with the 5619 visitors savouring the fabulous art, the exhibitors have enjoyed a hugely successful few days too with early statistics showing that 618 pieces were sold at the fair, mostly original paintings plus sculptures, original prints, glass and ceramics. Of course, this does not account for the post-fair purchases. Notably the sales included a Banksy, at least 3 Tracey Emins, a Howard Hodgkin and several Maggie Hamblings.
But don’t panic if you missed Fresh at Cheltenham, for the first time, Fresh: Art Fair will also be at the stunning Ascot Racecourse from the 20-22 September.
