Sibling Gin ‘Warming Party’ at Dowdeswell Park

RRA Architects > Sibling Gin ‘Warming Party’ at Dowdeswell Park

Siblings1_lrgApril saw the Sibling Gin Distillery’s ‘warming party’ in their new premises on the exciting Dowdeswell Park development. As mentioned in our last newsletter Siblings Gin has taken the Gin world by storm since it’s launch less than 4 years ago and the rapid success meant their original set up was struggling to cope with the manufacturing volumes required. The new facility on Dowdeswell Park houses their whole manufacturing process and even includes a tasting room for guests.

On the night friends, family, business people, press and even the local MP gathered together to wish these four young entrepreneurs well on the next step of their journey.

We would have to say that they are as a good at throwing a party as they are at making gin! The building was beautifully adorned with strings of lights and signage keeping the industrial theme. Magician Alex Robertson wowed guests with his slight of hand and amazing tricks. Live music set the atmosphere with Ben Cipolla and Will Downes-Hall playing everything from Gnarls Barkley to Bob Marley. Naturally there was a great selection of food to nibble through the night – all designed to accompany gin perfectly, of course.

And then there was the star of the show, Siblings Gin itself. Cocktail aficionado, Jason Davies, devised bespoke cocktails especially for Siblings and spent the night demonstrating how to recreate the cocktails at home. Whilst in the very funky cocktail bar the talented and charismatic Harry Wynn-Sands and Tom Noori created a constant stream of these absolutely delicious, and far-too-easy-to-drink, cocktails for the guests.

Siblings was formed by two sisters and two brothers, none of whom were older than 23 when the company started up. They have proved themselves in the competitive world and have a clear vision for their product. Where other companies will buy in the neutral spirit base for their beverages, Sibling insist on making their own spectacularly high quality vodka from scratch and source ever single botantical personally allowing them total control over the purity to achieve the highest quality. This uncompromising ethos has catapulted them onto the world stage with their product, winning awards, and fans, across the globe.

Occasionally Siblings runs a tour of their distillery including a tasting, gin education and a ‘pub quiz’. To view dates or to book for this tour visit
