As part of a major regeneration for two separate community clients, RRA developed a comprehensive feasibility report to demonstrate viability for the regeneration of two major sports facility in West London, near the M4 corridor. The current site is home to both facilities which are used primarily for rugby & cricket, and golf respectively. These were considered for transformation into major centres for crickettraining, rugby, swimming, squash, football, hockey and tennis. As well as supporting sporting activity, with gyms and changing facilities, there are substantial hospitality opportunities with function rooms, bars and restaurants.

With a multi-disciplinary team identified by RRA to facilitate delivery of the project, the study looked at methods of analysis including local significance, local competition, building and sports technology analyses as well as associated costs such as fees, preliminaries and funding opportunities.
Our findings demonstrated that the prospect of creating new facilities at Osterley Sports and Cricket Clubs to be positive, deliverable and our proposal received strong support from Ealing Council during consultations.
